Shareware & Freeware ...

Back

You can get everything from games to utilities to calendars!  My favorite download sites are : Tucows, CNet, ZDNet, Winsite , to name a few.  Of course your tech support people will warn you against these little programs since sometimes they conflict with hardware/software configurations already running.  So try to limit them to ones you'll really use.

My most recent find is a little memory optimizer that lets you clear your RAM and keeps a monitor active so you can tell when you're running out .. that's when Windows locks up!  It's called MPower and I found it at the MindBeat Site.  It is something I wished someone would invent, and here it is!
