MICROSOFT Powerpoint 2003 ......

Back

This is a HIGHLY evolved and sophisticated presentation program.  That means you can make slideshows to take on the road.  Or to attach.

But business and advanced users aside, you can also make quickie ordered shows when you get back from that dreamed of vacation or never-to-be-repeated family event!

Here are some notes for getting those pictures into a slideshow: Photoshows for New Users!

Open Power Point.

On the right panel, click the down arrow (Getting Started) and select Slide Layout.

In that dropdown menu,  click on the blank slide.

Then click the (Insert Menu top above toolbar) and then picture and then "New Photo Album".

In the window that opens click "file/disk" to browse to My Pictures and open the desired folder.
CTRL A to select all of the pictures.
Click New Text Box.
Click Create.

(remember to stop a slideshow (or any movie/video) always tap your ESC key , upper left of keyboard)

To sequence your show click upper right down arrow again and select Slide transition:

Put checkmark in "Automatically After" and adjust seconds (3 to 6)

Click "apply to all slides" and then click "slideshow" to preview.  Tap Escape.

Click file menu and save as and name and save file.

(BE SURE TO NOTE WHERE YOU SAVE THE FILE ..MY DOCUMENTS?  OR Click Desktop and then open "Powerpoint Shows" Folder & SAVE)

TO BURN:

Find file and check size.  you have up to 650,000 k (650 MB) for each CD.

Right click .ppt file (your slideshow.ppt) & "send to" and click "Drive D".

Balloon appears. click and then write to CD.
