MS Office 2007? 

Don't get it if you can help it.  I have been buying the 2003 Student Teacher's edition from Buy.com or from Ebay.  The same product in 2007 does not have Outlook.
I am switching to iGoogle Calendars and Google Docs and Spreadsheets and advising clients to do the same.  Enough is enough.  Microsoft programmers have "clevered" themselves out of a market by changing too much, in my opinion anyway.

version with the Logitech Pro Joystick ..stiff learning curve but fun flying over major cities in various planes ..I like the Lear Jet!

Online BillPay

has really come into it's own and EVERYONE should at least be accessing their bank and credit cards online.  SO easy and convenient.

The HP TouchSmart

 computer is pretty cool ..I have one (beginner with his first computer) client who taps the screen to play the new chess game that comes with Vista.  We are thinking of teaching his very smart cats to use the computer! (smile)

These days I rent or buy movies at Amazon.com UnBox service ..I download them to my Tivo.  LOVE that computer/TV/DVD integration.

I also can watch cable TV on my laptop, but haven't sprung for the wireless setup yet so I have to be yoked to the wall.  My laptop can then record TV content too ..
