What I do: Teach you in your home to use your computer in your own way. I also provide free e-mail support and follow-up. 
Remote support! If you are far away this summer and need help I can connect with you on Yahoo chat and then log into your computer if necessary to see what you're doing!

What it costs: I charge $45 to $60 per hour for home visits ..less for classroom and more for business training.
You keep a list of questions, problems and tasks.  We cover that together plus offer suggestions for more enjoyment of your system.  These rates can be shared by more than one.

Other services:  
 Shop or help shop new equipment, consult & handle upgrades, provide services i.e. I sometimes do the tasks so you don't have to.

If you innocently bought or were given a digital camera, and/or
scanner you've been plunged into the vast world of photo-editing.  And just when you figured out how to E-mail!  There are perhaps hundreds of software programs and web sites devoted to this subject. (This site is way incomplete .. patience please.)

 Video's are the next fun thing we can do with our digital photos besides collecting them and printing.

Today's software makes these little films easier and easier to make.

 

 Pictures & Clipart:  You might think "no never".  But it will happen sooner than you think.  When your family convenes at your web site to share the photos from the last visit of the grand children or the last trip, you'll be hooked as easily as you were on e-mail! Some of us slip in our favorite audio CD when we're working on the computer.  This page is devoted to all of the OTHER ways our computers cater to our musical interests. Graphics includes clip-art as well as original art for those who want to design their own letterheads or web site images.  Clip art collections are everywhere.  All we need to do is make sure we're using free art and not someone's personal creations. How do I keep up on tech news?  I listen to CNET radio.  On the Internet.  Here at the office.  With my DSL connection.  Of course you probably don't have an interest in either tech news or high speed Internet.  But if you love commercial free radio wouldn't this (or classical or jazz) be nice while you're working on that Word document or just surfing?
